Does the digital archive have old issues in PDF format that can be downloaded?
Great magazine, was a regular reader when I was in the reserves.

Hi Anthony. Yes the archives have both versions of the magazines that have been archived – there’s about 50 so far. That said, the archives are only accessible by CONTACT Patrons (check the orange ad in the right sidebar for details).
      Thank you for your interest,
      Brian

Hi Peter. I can’t help you I’m afraid. CONTACT was first published in March 2004 – so way to young to have published that story.
It may have been ARMY Magazine you saw. That isn’t published any more, but was published by the ARMY Newspaper Unit – which also doesn’t exist anymore – but the ARMY Newspaper is still there as a civilian-run department – and they still have the archives of ARMY Magazine.
      Best contact is armynews@defencenews.gov.au
      Cheers

P.S. If you’re interested, read the story of how CONTACT was born because they shut down ARMY Magazine – here – http://www.contactairlandandsea.com/2017/01/22/defence-reporter/
