On 31 May 2019, 7th Brigade conducted its culminating live-fire combined-arms training, which saw brigade units work together using their own skills and equipment, to accomplish a common mission.

This saw infantry conducting assaults with artillery, tanks, engineers, logistics and communication elements in support.
Exercise Diamond Sprint is 7th Brigade’s biggest exercise of the year, apart from larger tri-service exercises such as Talisman Sabre.
More than 1200 ADF members from 7th Brigade and other supporting units took part in the exercise.
