Australian Air Force Cadets (AAFC) from No 2 Wing commemorated the 75th anniversary of the AAFCs with a tour of military establishments and museums/memorials in Williamtown, Canberra and Sydney recently.

ADF Cadets are participants in the youth development program conducted by the three services in cooperation with the community but they are not members of the ADF. Officer Cadets (Air Force) and Staff Cadets (Army) are trainee officers undertaking instruction at the Australian Defence Force Academy or the Air Force Officers' Training School or Royal Military College Duntroon, The terms 'ADF Cadets', 'Officer Cadets' and 'Staff Cadets' are not interchangeable. Trainee naval officers are not cadets; they are commissioned officers with the rank of Midshipman.
