Window error – new lintel required

While we were in Ireland recently, the new window for the studio kitchen was delivered, as expected.

What wasn’t expected, however, was that it was 400mm wider than ordered.

So, all my pre-holiday preparations were out of whack – which was no small inconvenience.

Luckily, after suffering homesickness while in Ireland, I was up for the challenge.
