Away

I longed for your

Black desert sky

Bright stars

Rotating low on

Distant horizons

Cold fiercely infinite

Stripping ego

From the landscape

For searing painful air

Distorting the distant

Hills dislocated wavering

Blue Heat dissolving Images

Black shadows harshly cut

Offering no respite

To the barren plains

For the red floods

Flushing life through

Ancient pathways

To your heart again

For I am

Far from home
