It’s true – my charity career technically ended the same day it started.
I got the keys last Thursday, did a six-hour day pottering around in the building, including planting my sign in concrete in the front garden.
Then went home and found an email on my computer that effectively ended my charity career.
So, Friday I was back in the building to pack up my personal effects and clear out.
After some robust discussions in the mean time, I finally and formally resigned from all involvement in the Veteran HELP Centre in Kiama today.
Best of luck to the new manager.
