Graduates, their families and friends attending the Australian Air Force (AAF) Cadets Promotions Course Parade at Royal Australian Air Force Base Pearce will be treated to a fast jet flying display just before sunset on Monday 23 January 2017.

AAF cadets and numerous family members, who have travelled from all around Western Australia to support these young people, will be treated to one Hawk 127 Lead-In Fighter aircraft conducting up to three low level passes from west to east over the parade ground.

The passes will be no lower than 500 feet (150 metres) above ground level and will travel at a maximum airspeed of 740 kilometres per hour over the base.

Hawk 127 aircraft are used as trainee aircraft for fighter pilots before they move onto F/A-18A/B Hornets, or F/A-18F Super Hornets.

All flying is subject to change due to operational requirements.
