Heavy muscle power displayed at Lavarack

Units from across the 3rd Brigade, hosted by 3rd Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment, came together last week to display their advanced and diverse range of equipment.

Other units participating included the 2nd Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment and 5th Aviation Regiment.

The units and their equipment facilitate the combined-arms warfighting capabilities at Lavarack Barracks and RAAF Base Townsville.

Commander 3rd Brigade Brigadier Kahlil Fegan opened the event with an address to to soldiers outlining the importance of combined-arms capabilities to an agile, adaptive and dynamic warfighting formation.

The in-house display was designed to allow members of 3 Brigade to get a feel for the combined-arms capabilities available in the brigade before it kicks off another busy training year.
