7 Christmas cases of COVID-19 for Defence

Defence today updated its COVID-19 running totals to show that they have now accumulated a total 134 confirmed cases, with 122 listed as ‘recovered’.

Despite other fresh reporting appearing on the Defence web site throughout the holiday break, it seems the COVID-19 reporters were on leave – so, the seven new cases reported today, represent the total increase since the last reported change on Christmas Eve – rather than their most significant one-day spike.

Despite there being seven new cases reported today, the ‘overseas’ tally climbed by eight and South Australia also grew by one.

That’s because the two new cases reported on Christmas Even weren’t added to the running totals.
