Thank you Townsville military

All of Townsville would like to thank all the soldiers who helped during our recent floods.

It was a horrible sight to see people lost everything, furniture, electrical goods and family photos etc.

Without Lavarack support we would have lost lives!

Others were then involved in the floods out west where an estimated 500,000 head of cattle were lost and this is after a horrible drought.

Airlifts into the flooded area and out again saved lives.
