A mystery wood turning

I was ‘in a mood’ one day recently – the job I was supposed to be doing was too big to start just yet – and the job I wanted to be doing would keep me away from the job I was supposed to be doing.

So I was in this awful kind of limbo.

So, with no particular plan or reason in mind, I decided to grab a bit of firewood, throw it on the lathe and see what happened.

And hopefully not kill myself in the process.

Ho ho ho Merry Christmas, bah humbug and jingle bells and all that 😉
P.S. that’s a sort of a clue to what I eventually made.
