The Pacific Patrol Boat Replacement Project is an Australian security initiative that aims to enhance practical maritime security cooperation across the South Pacific through the donation of patrol boats to replace an ageing fleet of boats donated to the same countries in a program that commenced in 1987. The project includes 19 or more 39.5m vessels designed and constructed by Austal in WA for delivery to up to 13 Pacific-island nations from late 2018.
