CONTACT sets massive new record
CONTACT has set a massive new record for the number of pages viewed on its web site in a calendar year.
13,395,582 – or rounded to the nearest neat number – 13.4 million page views.
That’s almost double last year’s record 7.2 million.
While every month in 2025 outpaced the same month in 2024, there were a couple of standout peaks – or ‘viral’ months this year.
June (900k), July (1.7 mil) and August (1 mil) led up to a massive peak in to see in the spring.
September was by far the best month ever recorded in CONTACT stats, with a massive 4,418,171 unique page visits.
And, since the bulk of the new traffic seemed to come from the USA, I would have to guess (because there’s no way of confirming) that Exercise Talisman Sabre may have had a lot to do with the boost.
Whatever the cause, excitement (and disbelief) was high for those few months – and I’m still buzzing as I write this.
There were some doubters along the way, who suggested it was just bots or internet spiders or something – but those are counted separately and came in at a whopping 15,026,123 for the year.
Not that numbers means much these days, however, since I am officially retired, CONTACT is but a hobby and I don’t sell advertising anymore.
If I have any regrets, though, it is only in the fact that numbers like this could have helped a great deal when I was selling advertising and thus staved off the demotion of CONTACT from failing business to obsessive side hustle.
Ah well, dems da breaks! Back to my bunker to make more videos…
All the best for 2026.
