My last days in Ireland

Never say never, but I may have spent my last days in Ireland.

And, to be honest, I’m not even that sad about the realisation.

While the reason for my ‘last’ trip home was obviously sad (my mam’s funeral), I guess that in itself is an iconic milestone in an emigrant’s life.

So, after 41 years Down Under, I have never felt more Australian.
