Troops and aircraft deployed to Middle East

To support Australians seeking to leave the Middle East, Australian Defence Force personnel and aircraft have been deployed to the region.

Operation Beech is a non-combat deployment, intended as a precautionary measure as part of whole-of-Australian-government support to Australian citizens and approved foreign nationals in the region.
The ADF contingent includes two strategic airlift assets configured for passenger transport and an ADF personnel contingent from both the Australian Army and Royal Australian Air Force which will provide the Australian government with additional capabilities to assist Australian citizens and approved foreign nationals if required.
Operation Beech is Defence’s support to the Australian-government consular response to the latest Middle East conflict.
The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade is the lead agency for Australian consular assistance and will continue to provide updates to registered Australians.
Australians in the region who are seeking Australian-government support should register via DFAT’s Crisis Portal or by calling the 24-hour Consular Emergency Centre on +61 2 6261 3305 (from overseas) or 1300 555 135 (from within Australia).

Disgusting. Albanese and Wong bought by the American hegemony and Zionist and taking us into conflict for brownie points with a madman.
Slow Clap.
Why do these people need help to get on a plane? I believe this will be seen by the middle east as Australians getting involved. We probably needed this support when Australians returned home during COVID.
How stupid is the Gov stay out of it. No our fight.
One day we might need allied support after all do you think support for us will come from military enemies as we are aligned with the US in military defence. Besides we are bringing home fellow Australian civilians from a very threatening environment now that we know what they are making
This how Vietnam started with 16 “advisors” before we knew it there was 3 battalions, air and navy support.
560 dead mostly young men dead
They are not advisors. You do realise we have people that hold duel citizenship and are currently living or visiting over there, who now want to come back to Australia.
You don’t send public servants over there near a conflict zone to do the admin, it’s not in their EA.
This happens everything there is a problem. Defence members are easier to deploy. They have the medical and immunisation clearances, they have skills for difficult environments and are self sufficient.
In part, some will be used to keep the small cadre of DFAT over their safe.
That’s it. No combat. Nothing
Does the government think we are stupid, why would military be needed to help people leave the middle east , this is a deployment of soldiers soon to be joined by more soldiers
My thoughts also .
Here we go people of the world , on all sides , young productive souls , not born for this . It’s so wrong but no more wrong than the little souls passing by the hundreds in Gaza , all the people passing through terror in all the less fashionable , topical wars every day of our lives , I hate it so .
I could comment on and on but who really cares
I now really hate my fellow people .
No one’s fault more than others but how I scorn Albanese, I imagine him taking an extra spell in the bog , so to speak , coming out when timely to speak for his people , us that is !
But no,we the people do not want to be part of it , is what we are saying .And what should be said for us and by us .
The law and war makers are looking unwell as they must this out
I pity them as well .
Remember HATE feeds war so get rid of it ,the ones that seek Power. and control through hate and cruel treatment and have no empathy for their own people or anyone else and use them as fodder to achieve their ambitions and Religion as a tool to stir the pot .I grew up listening to WW1 and 2 survivors slowly dying while I got their ciggies, rolled their backie and fetched their drinks as the mustard gas ate them alive.
Mustard gas you say- It was used in one battle in WW1 and survivors couldn’t smoke. May I ask how old you are Margaret?
Crap stories .dogs of USA.
Mr A, cabinet, reps, senators and the opposition, you couldn’t resist could you? Sucking up to the mega moron and yankland. You are all now members of the unelectable society.
You were warned.
Mhkeen – if you hate all of us, doesn’t that make you part of the problem?
Certainly agree. Very astute of America’s former President despite Parkinson’s to make the statement he has done. A great pity he was conflicted at this fateful critical time in our world history. X

They assist DFAT to process and evacuate.
