Tackling the drainage issue in my lift shaft

Digging is finished in my lift shaft, so now I need to figure out what to do about the groundwater seeping in.

I had laid awake many nights working through how I might do this.

And, ‘when rubber hit the road’ it sort of went to plan.

But not plan A (as you’d expect).

OMG, your improvisation in order to get the task done is amazing. Ratchet straps, who would have thought of that! I am moved to comment that whilst watching the clip, I drew a similarity to the British sitcom Steptoe and Sons storage area to your driveway and garage entry as you panned the video 360 degrees. Don’t be offended by that observation Brian. You are far more courages than I on tackling the jobs you do. I look forward to the next episode.

Thank you Frank. Your comments and support are very much appreciated. This is one of the nicest responses I’ve had in a while. I am as chuffed as Harold after getting a rare one-up on his old man that you would put me in such esteemed ‘salt-o-the-earth’ company 🙂
