The Australian Defence Force is currently conducting training exercises over land, sea and air in Western Australia until 11 March 2019.

This training will see increased flying activity from RAAF Pearce and RAAF Learmonth and increased naval activity from HMAS Stirling and in the Western Australian Exercise Area (WAXA).

Defence says the public should not be alarmed if they see low-flying aircraft, increased ship movements, vehicles and military personnel or hear the associated noise of the aircraft, blank gunfire and pyrotechnics.

CONTACT says fans should be excited and take photo and send them to us if they see such activity 😉

The ADF says it will not provide further information, including specific timings regarding this training, in order to protect operational tactics, techniques and procedures.

Training such as this helps ensure the Australian Defence Force remains in a state of preparedness to protect Australia and its national interests.
