Aircraftman honours family KIA at Villers-Bretonneux

Royal Australian Air Force Leading Aircraftman Ryan Mostyn will travel to France for Anzac Day 2018 to perform ceremonial duties as a member of Australia’s Federation Guard.

Leading Aircraftman Mostyn has been selected to perform the role of drummer at the Dawn Service at Villers-Bretonneux, marking the 100th anniversary of the First World War battle at that place.

Before his departure for France, Leading Aircraftman Mostyn visited the Australian War Memorial to reflect on the service of his late great-uncle Lieutenant Albert E. Campling, who was killed in action on the Western Front on 14 June 1916.
