SURGE – SURGE – SURGE

Aircraft from the United States Air Force’s 23rd Wing conducted a surge exercise on 22 May 2017 at Moody Air Force Base, Georgia, in order to demonstrate the wing’s ability to rapidly deploy combat-ready forces.

The 23rd Wing maintains and operates A-10C Thunderbolt IIs for precision attack, HH-60G Pave Hawks for personnel recovery, and HC-130J Combat King II for combat support.
